Each vendor is solely responsible for obtaining and displaying all necessary permits from the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) or the Municipality of Anchorage. Vendors operating under the Alaska 'Homemade Food Rule' must comply with all labeling and safety requirements. Arts in the Cove a Festival by the Sea assumes no liability for food safety, vendor non-compliance, or any health-related claims arising from products sold at the event. By participating, vendors agree to indemnify and hold Arts in the Cove a Festival by the Sea harmless from any regulatory fines or legal actions. I understand that if I am a food vendor, I am required to have a valid permit and that all staff have required Alaska Food Worker Cards. I understand that if I paid for electricity, I am limited to a single plug provided to me by AITC. Plug (extension cord end) will be located at the back of my booth. No extra extension cords or splitters will be provided (No exceptions!). All vendors are limited to 20 amps only (no exceptions!). Electricity is available in designated areas only. If a breaker is tripped in your booth it is your responsibility to rectify the amperage overage. I understand I am required to be at the event in time to be completely setup and ready to do business PRIOR to event opening. Set up time is from 9:00 am – 1:30 pm on Fri. & 9:00-11:30 am on Sat. I also understand this is a two day event and will be in my booth both days for all posted vendor hours. I understand as a Vendor I am responsible for my litter - if I pack it in I will pack it out. Dumpsters are for Festival garbage. They are not to be used to dispose of cardboard boxes. I understand items promoting the use of or the selling of illegal or controlled substances will not be allowed. The “Arts in the Cove” A Festival by the Sea and others participating in the sponsorship of the “Arts in the Cove” A Festival by the Sea accept no responsibility for damages or injuries sustained by vendors. As a condition of, and in consideration of, the acceptance of their entries therein, all vendors and their parents or guardians shall be deemed to agree and assume all risks of injury to the vendor’s property and person resulting from, caused by, or connected with the conduct and management of the “Arts in the Cove” A Festival by the Sea and to release all claims which they may have against the “Arts in the Cove” A Festival by the Sea and the City of Coffman Cove and organizations that take part in the sponsorship of this “Arts in the Cove” A Festival by the Sea.
