The annual 4th of July Celebration in Coffman Cove is a testament to the spirit of small towns across America. We fill our independence day with fun for all ages, including a parade, a grease pole contest, field games, a potluck, a lucky duck race, a community bonfire and of course, fireworks! It’s a cherished annual tradition that brings together our community, POW islanders, and visitors alike. Our independence day celebration is a great opportunity to showcase your business, products or services. Sponsors are recognized with regular announcements and signage. Our sponsors and contributors play a HUGE part in making our event so successful!
 This year we are in need of contributions toward fireworks, potluck service items, food and drink, as well as prizes for the Lucky Duck contest, the best parade entry, the cribbage tournament, and winners in field games. We would also welcome the idea of your business or organization sponsoring a particular game or event (i.e - The Lucky Duck contest is sponsored by…) We hope you will consider contributing to our cherished annual celebration where numerous people travel from all over SE Alaska and the surrounding rainforest islands to attend and participate.
