The Biggest & Best Arts Festival on Prince of Wales Island
Our Annual Festival has been going strong for over 15 years! Arts in the Cove, A Festival by the Sea, is a 2 day event held on the second weekend of August in Coffman Cove, AK. We offer artisans from all over SE Alaska a venue to show their work and products. We also offer a fun filled day with a variety of food booths, entertainment, prizes, music and fireworks!

Run the Rainforest
9:30 am – 5k/10k Race
3:00 – 10:00 pm – Festival Open!
Vendors and Food Booths Open until 8:00pm

4:00 – SE Island School District Taekwondo Demonstration

6:00 – Island Poetry open mic

Featuring Robyn Cardenas & Teagan Schwartz from Petersburg, AK; a brother sister duo singing folk, country covers, and originals inspired by their surrounding lifestyle / culture in Southeast Alaska.
Jamie Lawrence
Direct from the Hawaiian Islands, Jamie will be playing throughout the day both Friday and Saturday. His soothing and romantic voice combined with his 12 string guitar creates an amazing sound like no other.
Seafood Dip Contest!
Do your friends rave about your delicious seafood dip? Now’s your chance to prove that it’s the best in the Southeast!
We’re searching for the ultimate seafood dip! All we ask is that your creation features locally harvested seafood from our beaches and/or sea.
Be a judge! Judging will be done by the public! Its $5 to be a judge. All dips will be scored on taste and creativity. Judging will begin at 2:00 pm near the stage on Saturday
Not only will the winning dip earn bragging rights and a coveted trophy, but you will also receive a $100 cash prize!

Drawings Friday, August 8th at 6:00 pm and 7:00pm, and Saturday, August 9th at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm
All non-winning tickets will be dumped into the Grand Prize box for a chance to win for everyone! Grand Prize announced at 6:00pm Saturday.

If you haven’t registered and would still like to be a part of our festival, we are offering “Bring your own tent and table” space at the festival entrance. You will be the first vendors people see! Spaces are only $50 ea!
Please contact us if you’re interested in a booth under a tent. We do occasionally get cancellations.
